GTBs are VERY popular in off-road. 6.5 is no problem for them, no struggle, they hardly break sweat as gearing is low and top speed rarely reached.

we'll run a dedicated heat for 4 or more cars.. not the appropriate thread to discuss it in, but you may like to PM Mr Manning...

Edited to ensure clarity

Smaller class groups should be prepared to be combined based upon the race directors decision, where a minimum of four cars are entered for a particular class we can guarantee a dedicated heat for those cars.

See you all on the 3rd! (can't believe that's the next indoor racing! :( )

Thats right, my Cyclone isnt getting the love it deserves and there are many more racers out there that can take car of it and use it. So its up for sale, its been well maintained. Its a Worlds edition with the TC upgraded belts and pulleys (internal ration 2.166, also includes original worlds belts and 16th pulleys 2.435). Car also has a pro-diff fitted and FRP rear deck. Spares included are:

Set of Steering knuckles, rear hubs. Set of front and rear wishbones, 3 worlds diffs (all need a rebuild). One ways. Set of spare shocks. Spare Worlds top deck, Spare rear shock tower. Full set of roll bars. Pivot blocks (3.0, 2.5, 1.0). spare motor mounts, 6 & 0 degree caster C-hubs. Steering post. 73 & 77 tooth spur. Shiny purple motor heat-sink.

However the car does not include any springs.

I would like £110 for the car.

Also available:

Integy Low profile high speed digital servo C22440 - cant find the specs for this online. Only used a few times, still works perfectly. £25

I won't say I have Man Flu like Jas, its more like a pathetic sore throat that won't go away. If it feels ok in the morning I'll pop down, but I don't fancy making it worse by standing out in the cold all day!

Might see you there, sounding like Barry White, for some racing, but I'll have to decide nearer the time

There was originally 6 different wide boy tracks created last year, we've ran our current layout for a long time, a change will be a nice challenge.. keeping the layout for 6 or so race meetings allows for racers to see improvements.

Interestingly Newbury run a different track every week, as do Bransgore, Hamworthy used to, but I think they've moved onto longer rotation similar to ours...

Cheers Simon This is the address if you have not seen it yet http://www.mylaps.com/index.php/uk_eng/Websites/home it tells you about the new system a bit. I have emailed them and there is a uk website to order from http://www.bbksoftware.com/
as if you go through the site it comes from Holland i think and cost loads in postage.
Just wasnt sure about compatibilty so wanted to check first.

The mylaps rc4 one will work with our existing system I'm lead to believe.

I can't quite work out what the advantages of the new system are though... ie we'll all be able to use our existing PTs for years to come.
