Next Off-Road Meeting Sat 19th September
« Thread Started on Aug 29, 2009, 7:48pm »

Just checking out the club calendar, next week is Reality Cup, the weekend after is SLCC, so let's 'book in' Saturday 19th Sept for the next off-road meeting!

(Can an admin pop it on the calendar please?)

((Well spotted Martin!))

Bump!

Who's coming down for a bit of buggy racing on Saturday? 11am!

Jumps, grass, dirt, bank, gravel, slabs, lots of variety to keep you on your toes!

Can Rossie use the track whilst the buggy racing is going on?

Yup that is the plan. Although I was informed last night that the aerial has snapped so I am going so solder a length of aerial wire from a toy rc to it, I assume that will work

Hi, just wondering what the deal is with the off road racing.

Has it died off, is there a permanant track laid out and is there still some interest in this form of racing within the club?

Thanks
Paul

We ran some fun off-road meetings on a temporary grass track at Bashley on nice weather Saturday's in the summer.

Running indoors during the winter is a much bigger logistical challenge, so not one that's being pursued at present, hence lack of current activity.

Thanks for the reply Simon. I will keep any eye on the forum postings for the next off road get together.
