Lots of people have been wondering what buggy to get!
2wd? 4wd? Truck?
Ansmann? Tamiya? Schumacher? Kyosho? Associated? Losi?
So many choices!
I'd say, if you're wanting to have a go at buggy racing, get a 2wd buggy, they're surprisingly nice to drive, especially on grass, and they are very simple and easy to get going with.
The Ansmann Madrat is a BARGAIN at £50 for the kit. It's a copy of a high end Kyosho RB5, and they perform well.
Or you can go second hand and pay similar money, or maybe around £100 for a current model, and get any of the decent makes.
Stick in any motor and speedo - there's no limits or rules here! Though speed isn't everything - Matt came 2nd with a 27T motor in a 2wd buggy at the first meeting...
Let's race!

- just 3 seconds behind a 4wd brushless 10.5 driven beast costing the best part of 350!!!!
go value Ansmann!! - Anyone who's feeling the need - Terry has a mad rat kit in stock.. it looks like a simple build.. maybe an afternoons work, or a couple of evenings if you want to take it slow!
