A great day everyone, Iain would have been proud. Pleased we could raise some money for charity and have a really fun day.) (Whilst everyone is feeling charitable, feel free to sponsor my ridiculous moustache at uk.movember.com/mospace/98127 - especially if it made you laugh!)

I had a fantastic day, many thanks to all those who turned out from ours and other clubs! it was lovely to see so many of you and to help raise money for a good cause, and celebrate the life of our very own captain slow ( rclazy.com/) The heats were great fun, as were the finals, the last final, racing down to the last corner, of the last lap with rob just in my sights, with the gap slowly closing until he made a minor mistake - clinching a win my 0.01 of a second - (something to do with transponder position surely!) Great day, Great meeting, Great Great People!!! Matt

A big thank you from the Miller family, just wanted to say I now fully understand why my Dad loved Wednesday’s & Sunday’s so much, it is clear to us that it was not just the racing but the people that took part. My Mum felt so proud to be a part of your day and when we left had a good cry, it has been the topic of conversation in the whole of the family. It was times like yesterday that I find it so very difficult to understand that my Dad will not be coming back but my hart takes solace in the fact that his memory lives on in the race club. ;D Terry a special thank you to you for being a fantastic guy and a rock to mum, we feel very touched to have found a good friend in you and hope it is a friendship that can last a lifetime. Sending love to you all from the Miller family PS looking forward to the drawn on Xmas eve, if I win (fingers crossed) I promise I will learn to race, Watch out race clubs in the south “There a Miller on the tract” LOL bring on Captain Slow Sam xxxxx

A great day's racing! Loved every minute (even when my car was in smoke on the straight!) Bring on next year when we can raise even more money for a worthy cause , and I'll be challenging the mini's with a vintage RWD VW! Cya on Sunday guys!

The March issue of Radio Control Car Racer (out now) has a double page spread on the Miller Mile. Not a bad spread either although how it came to be in Yeovil I am not quite sure.
However, all good publicity. Nice group photo as well.
