Actualy Pete its not a bad bit of kit,im looking forward to running it...........................Not sure about the 10th stuff though,Orange and Plastic shocks!! whats that all about then ;D Fair questions Les but easily answered. The orange is there to match the wheels nuts, battery tape and and pit towel. It doesn't make the car faster per se but puts the the driver in the right frame of mind being co-ordinated and tidy and of course airs a professional approach to make competitors feel inferior. The plastic (advanced resin to be accurate) shocks allow rapid piston pressure tuning for the more discerning racer. Having said I am sure you still enjoy the X12 immensely Thanks Pete now I know, guess what you've nearly convinced me that a chocolate orange is the way to go .....but im still very partial to a bit of blue cheese theses days ;D Shock and horror!!! Ive just spotted this after posting the above.....the TC6 has bloody orange ball links ......

GREAT Work by darren o & matt s today. The track looks really good and the school venue is superb for the Miller Mile. The rostrum is a sight to be seen! By the way, came in at the very end and tried to take all the glory!!!!!!!

How do you do the additive on the 12th?is it full on rear and 1/4 on the front? My 12th is ready for tomorrow. Won't need a shell thanks Darren.

Post by darrenoakley on Dec 4, 2010 20:50:07 GMT
Full rear and inside fronts the amount on the front depends on feel on the day really mate. Front usually needs less time though. I usually do nearly half the front on a wed night but the grip will be better I would have thought tomorrow so I too will guessing.

Great meeting, thanks to all those that made it happen.
Ill just add that: The track was a great layout - but it was too narrow for the ropes, as the ropes moved, sometimes the track width shrunk dramatically and because frustrating to drive, as to be quick you needed to be near the ropes, and they would drag you in.
That track with Plastic pipping and flappy ends would be amazing!
