Reality Racing Cup 2011
Hosted By South Hants Model Car Club - Bashley
All rounds will be held at the SHMCC Outdoor Track in Bashley. Championship will consist of 6 rounds with your best 4 results to count, followed by count back for any tied positions.
Championship Race Dates
Round 1 - Sunday 13th March
Round 2 - Sunday 17th April
Round 3 - Sunday 22nd May
Round 4 - Sunday 26th June
Round 5 - Sunday 31st July
Round 6 - Sunday 25th September
General Rules
Minimum weight limit 1350g.
2 Cell 7.4v LiPo Max 6200mah or 6 Cell NiMh/NiCd.
LiPo must be hard cased and be run with a cut off on the speed controller or as a separate device.
LiPo must be charged on LiPo settings of charger.
Maximum LiPo voltage of 8.44v.
All other regulations to BRCA guidelines.
Eco 1/10th Electric Touring Cars
Emphasis on 'Budget' racing and driving skill not on who spends the most money.
Any Ready To Run Touring Car with a RRP of not more than £140.00 may enter.
Only Ansmann Clash 21T or Maverick 22T sealed can motors to be used.
Any Electronic Speed controller with a RRP £39.99 price limit.
Any rubber tyres.
Pro-Eco 1/10th Electric Touring Cars
Step up from Eco class using any 1/10 touring car chassis
Only Ansmann Clash 21T sealed can motor to be used.
Any Electronic Speed controller with a RRP £39.99 price limit.
Any rubber tyres.
Stock 1/10th Electric Touring Cars
Any 17.5T commercially available Brushless motor with sintered or
bonded rotors up to 13mm diameter. Y winds only, no delta winds.
Pro-Stock 1/10th Electric Touring Cars
Any 13.5T commercially available Brushless motor with sintered or
bonded rotors up to 13mm diameter. Y winds only, no delta winds.
No other classes will qualify for the Reality Racing Cup Championship, however the club welcomes drivers with other 1/10th electric on road cars at any time and will accommodate them where ever possible.
Meeting Format
3 Qualifying Rounds for all drivers.
3 Finals for all drivers (best 2 to count)
Where possible qualifiers and finals will have a maximum of 7 cars.
Trophy Presentations
End of championship trophies will be awarded to all drivers who complete
four or more championship rounds (presentation date to be confirmed).
