OK folks, Something a little different to accompany the SWICC Special Tarmac round at Bashley on July 5th.. Along side the normal Stock TC and Boosted TC heats, there will also be a Scale TC and Mini classes available with the emphasis on period scale body shells etc.. Please see below for class rules.. All lipo's must be hard cased Class rules SCALE TOURING CAR Chassis; Any 4wd or 2wd touring car chassis Speed controller; Any Brushed speedo. Please note reverse may not be used Motor; Saturn 20 motor. ( the class has been designed around the saturn 20 motor but you may also run any 27 turn sealed can motor if you wish) Tyres/Wheels; any slick or treaded tyre ( no mini pins or rally tyres ) Bodyshell; Any scale bodyshell 190mm or 200mm. No aftermarket wings (not brca touring shells) Ride Height; minimum 5mm Minimum Weight; 1350 grams 4wd 1250 grams 2wd MINI Chassis; Any 2wd mini chassis. Maximum track width of 175mm and maximum wheel base of 240mm Speed controller; Any brushed speedo. Please note reverse may not be used . Oh yes Andrew and I will be there with the scale class cars as well as doing 17.5 stock. Looking forward to it.

The scale racing seems to have been a very popular idea . also it has been meet with enthusiasm by some of the big names in the rc world and i already have 2 places donating prizes for a drivers draw on the day and hopefully more to come There will also be awards for the top 3 in each final like trophies again these have been donated

Just a quick update lads the has been a little rule tweak . You can not run any lower than a fdr of 5.25 this is to keep things close and even as some people are running chassis kits with limited gearing range
