Another great day with good organization, well done all, a good solid days racing for me with no damage (apart from my exploding shell lol ), totally gutted about my thunderdome run! never would have thought i would snap a motor shaft but hey bring on next year, got a whole 12 months to find a better shell and some rubber tyres for my little rocket and maybe even try 4 cell lipo now that would be fun ;D. Les what is the speedo your running? is it the pearl? looking to get a new one but cant decide what to go for.

Yep agree with all that. It was shame the numbers were low but I think we all had a good day. I know the Yeovil crew did. My 2nd in the "A" was a result and with a 27T brushed motor ;D
Thanks to Ian and the crew for the organisation and nice relaxed day.

Hi Nick it was the Nosram stock spec ,I think It made all the differance ,It sense's the motors speed and winds the timing up acordinly, along with 2wd it alowed me to run a taller gearing..Its speed did surprise me I think I was matching the conventional drive 10.5 times ..mind you that Trinity 13.5's good too, once Dales dad sussed the FDR with his Trinity and went 2wd he was hard to catch. Ive heard no reports about the Pearl but the blurb recons its suited more to mods? Tip for the Nosram stock spec should you go for one ...punch setting 8 is wicked and pulls loads of amps,7 is good but be awear of using your Known fdr ,start slightly lower it does load up the motor some ...see you at the Cotswolds...
