there was a good deal of interest last year, but it never materialized, maybe you should start by getting a basic costing and then get some money off those interest, that way if it doesnt happen we can beat you

I 2nd the beating idea, I mean the T-shirt Idea.
Personally I think we should buy some cheap T-shirts from Ebay, then logo them up with printable "iron on" transfers
Plain Cotton T-shirts are about £2 each and Polo shirts about £3 each, when you buy 5 or 10.
A4 printable T-shirt transfers £18 for 10

Bargain.. we would need a simple design - nothing complex or to colourful....something STRIKING! and eye catching. a quick idea: ^ very rough round the edges and would need a little work done on it, but impressions? with slcc 2008 champions, and the amount of pts we got on the back

Needs more colour IMO, I like complex and colourfull. you'll struggle to see a basic design on a T-shirt unless it's a light colour and light coloured T-shirts may look tatty quite quickly, what with the dirty car tinkering and all.

Great ideas guys.. I've vinyl cutting and pressing facilities at work; they're a dam site nicer than the iron on transfers!
Perhaps we could throw the designing out there to the masses?? - see what some of our young members come up with? I'd say a couple of colours would be good, perhaps on blue or white T-shirts.. as then the likes of Dan ETC who have one of the original shirts would still match.... thoughts???

The problem with buying cheap T/Polo shirts is one or two washes and they look tatty and go out of shape. i have just ordered some embroidered fleeces for work from wellington signs the initial set up cost for the art work was £25 and each regatta fleece cost £21 with the art work embroidery on, so polo shirts would be cheaper. We could have something like
S.H.M.C.C SLCC WINNERS 2008
Black polo shirts white writing, I don’t think tyre tweak/diff grease goes well with white.
Anyway that’s my thoughts.

hehe good ideas Kev Blacks a good colour for keeping cool in the summer Aside from me (widely known to be cold blooded) everyone else may get a little hot - let's forget shirt colour until we work out what to have on them! www.shmcc.orgSouth hants model car club winners 2008 Matt

For those that have seen the new SHMCC sign the guy that painted this can do screen printed style t-shirts would anyone be interested in this street style SHMCC tshirt. They shouldn't be too pricey i think about the£16 mark.
Note, he did the sign for free so i think it would be nice if we could use him for some tshirts but no worries if not.

Indeed! I've seen him drive, He certainly wasn't slow! I think he may be a purple man also...
Another 90 odd points to SHMCC will certainly help!
no pressure there then _ _ _!! Welcome to the craziest bunch of racers in SLCC
