I'm up for a trip to Aldershot, happy to run 13.5 or 17.5 dependant on weather conditions and numbers... - Should be a good shakedown for SLCC!!

But if the weather is good I will be there to give it a go - assuming enough turn up for 2 heats. atm Sunday is looking dry but cold. lets hope is stays dry!!

Team Campbell is hoping to make its scheduled return to the cut and thrust this weekend if it's dry.If it is looking dodgy we may settle for a couple of hours on Saturday though

Team Davies will also be running at Bashley. I may decide to go to Aldershot for a shakedown a little closer to the event though.

Forecast is now no rain until Monday night (when it will be snow!), so fingers cross the track should be dry, and the car park water will have drained away.
I'd better rebuild my diff, I've not raced for weeks!

Right Guys, I've been down to the track today!
The car park is seriously damp whilst there's no standing water, I think avoiding parking at the bottom by the fence is the best idea! Also, the mole has re-appeared and he's attempting to dig his way through the track!
See you all in the morning for some dry racing!
PS I've a 13.5 bolted in the pro4 at the moment, Happy to run pro stock if others fancy a burst of speed!?
Matt

Regretfully have just discovered the ceilings in the cottage are not high to take my library units so need to saw down the end pieces so I can rebuild the units before I can unpack numerous boxes of books etc, and use the lounge The electric saw itself is somewhere in a garage of 50+ boxes. Even more regretfully that means Team Campbell are not going to make it and I can assure you the Chief Mechanic come chippie is more disappointed than the drivers

Easy Keith, you can't drink a Bud whilst typing ;D You can if you type with one finger like me ;D ;D ;D Hey Pete, I'm sure there's plenty of people who have mastered surfing the net with one hand, especially if the other hand's occupied. ;D

thanks for everyone turning out! My first race-director day was good I think..... any criticism welcomed, or any pointers..... and go slower isn't welcome . Only trouble is that a good days racing has spurred me to browse net and buy more bits :S, In standard Reuben fashion I just gone and brought a motor No-one uses.... so lets see how it goes !!!!! Ahh next week cant come soon enough
