Greetings all. Can anyone tell me if there is racing on sunday the 22nd at bashley (outdoor track) and if so what is the satnav postcode. Also could anyone tell me if membership is still £20. Thanks for your help....
P.S... i take it that the gearing for a 17.5 BL is the same as yeovil, sorry if this question as already been asked. I'm at work and sneaking a quick thread in..... Once again thanks for any help

Cheers lads, As for gearing.... I'm somewhat amazed that 17.5BL is geared so high. First time running 17.5, been running 13.5BL. Looks like i'm hitting the shops for spur and pinions. I'll be running the losi. Lets hope the weather stay's good... Thanks for all the help..

Adam wondered if anyone was likely to be doing pro-stock on Sunday. the weather is looking ok, any chance of enough speed freaks to form a heat.

No problem we have a 17.5 but he prefers 10.5 if any one else fancies it.

OK guys!! It's looking v.tasty out there right now!! I've got a couple of kilo's of bacon for the barbeque in the morning to keep everyone going! booking in will be open ASAP let's get as much racing in as possible, usual format of 4+3 so long as everyone is happy with that!?? The Newtonator looks to be running the show, so expect a tight ship, with quick turn arounds, and maybe even some fast laps from his good self! see you all bright and earyly in the morning - I'm off up the track - i'd better get some practice in - i've got some Reuben beating to do! Well been out got new lipo (orion 3800 30c), tyres, additive, pinions and spurs... but forgot about power.....! Does anyone know if a 12v (74AH) car battery will be good enough to get me through the day....? Will be using it to power tyre warmers and charge 3 lipo's....

should be fine, give it a trickle charge overnite and come with lipo precharged. We survive on 1 Lipo OK as long as you recharge as soon as you come off the track.

Very good days racing from all drivers, some VERY close racing with the 17.5's and it was great to see pro-stock back at the track showing off that extra tempting burst of speed....
see you all next sunday if the weather stays good!

Yes was good fun. Nice to be on the pace still and good to have some close racing. A little concerned the Exceloron 17.5 blew up especially only running a fairly conservative ratio. Was quite quick but dont think it should have gone up like that. Shame but there you go.

you aren't wrong about the speed. I had to hit EVERY apex and race my a$$ off to keep ahead of you in that final! - until everyone retired due to broken bits. but it was a shame the motor gave out... I agree with you about the gearing as myself and matt were only 0.1 lower?
