I wouldn't classify £65 as cheap Les but all our wallets are relative I would! they just dont perform, whats Craig using I bet it aint a 65 quider .....as for reverse, all due respects Pete you need to race to understand....you just cant react to some one who uses it just in front of you. I would! they just dont perform, Craig made the BRCA Juniors A final with one whats Craig using I bet it aint a 65 quider ..... Dead right there, he's gone brushless ;D as for reverse, all due respects Pete you need to race to understand.... I'll accept that on a lot of points Les but not this one, you just cant react to some one who uses it just in front of you. Absolutely, neither can you if a driver lurks part on the grass past a bend exit and decides to acclerate away 1 foot in front of you as you come around. Or a marshal drops a car on the racing line 5 foot in front of an oncoming car as happened to Craig at Bedworth. It's about common sense and respect for the other drivers. As was displayed by several learners last Sunday who got put back on the track, in the right place by the marshals but still waited for a string of cars to pass before setting off.
But we stray from the point, when Ross took up fishing in February I looked at some rods around the 550 mark and spools in excess of a 100; in the end I kitted him out with with easy to use gear costing 19.95 in total
CU Saturday Gordon ;D

CU Saturday Gordon ;D Craige made the junior A final with one I understand the competition was'nt up to Craigs standard,he still would of won driving a Mardave mini Dead right he's gone brusless You still need to drive to understand Pete As for fishing Pete...google my name, found in UKSF (united kingdom surfcasting federation)hall of fame or Florida surf fishing semina conducted by my self "teaching the yanks how to fish and cast!!"...failing that try 1983 Guiness book of records ...Fishing is one subject I do know somthing about See ya Sat...fancy a spot of carp fishing if its raining,or even a bit of midnight rock congering off dancing ledge...both of these will cost lots lots more than 19.95 and thats just the bait and end tackle...thats if you want to catch of course..its a bit like trying to compeet and be quick with a TC, it costs unfortunatly

Thanks Darren but the £20 kit will do for now, we caught a tree with it the other week so it well value for money. I am though having trouble skimming the hooks on the lathe after each session. Some pointers on that would be welcome

well here something im proud of for a botch job of the century , you know i said i picked up a spektrum dx2 for cheap as it had broken antenna , well i recieved it and removed the broken one , looked at it and had a momentary brainwave.... it looked identical to the old bt home hub i had in computerbits draw , albiet the hub one is white , so i dismantled the hub , and ill be damned its exactly the same model , down to the mounting , connections the lot!!!. so my spektrum now has a funky white aerial!!

You're telling me Matt. Just before we went brushless I sourced 4 replacement bits or whatever you call them from the States. Doh Mind you we could use the 19T for practice tomorrow which would keep the 10.5 clean and give me an excuse; hey how about some rain ;D
