Facilities
Camping and pitting
After entering through the green gate, with the track right in front of you, take a left turn through the earth embankment, then turn immediately to your right. The camping area is ahead of you marked out with fencing. Please use the rough area to the left as car parking, and the flat area to the right for camping. A clear path for car access must be kept open at all times.
Camping charges will be £5 per night, per tent. If you have a particularly big tent, or caravan, you are quite welcome to offer more money.
Please help us to help you by disposing of your waste sensibly. No open fires please.
We have a large pitting area where cars are normally welcome to park. However for this weekend, we will not be allowing cars to enter the pitting area.
You are welcome to pit from the camping area, but be aware that the track is not in sight, and you will need to walk around the earthworks to enter the race compound.
We will provide a speaker to the camping area, relaying information from race control.
There are no covered pits, so if you want to be shaded form the sun, you will need to bring your own gazebo/umbrella/marquee.
We have no mains electricity. Generators are allowed in the pits and camping areas. Please be considerate of other racers with the siting of your genny, and please turn them off by 9:00 in the evening.
Toilets
There is a public toilet block on the site. Water is available from a tap situated outside the public toilet block. Both are shown on the map of the site on our website (Click on the "Find Us" button).
There is also a portaloo within our compound, close to race control. (but not too close)
Food & Refreshments:
The BBQ will be running on Saturday and Sunday, serving burgers and the ever popular bacon sandwiches. Teas, coffees and soft drinks are available on site.
There are a number of small restaurants and takeaways in Shoreham, a 5 minute walk over the bridge, including an Italian, A fish and chip shop, a number of Indian curry houses, and a burger takeaway.
There are half a dozen pubs around the track area, most of which sell pub grub.
