Help and provide FDR's are completely different, its all about whether the FDR's are correct Plus with me using the Stock spec my ratios are going to be way off what you will end up with using the Pearl.

Control tyres! So, back in the day, about 6 or 7 years ago, you could use ANY tyres in competition. It got really crazy, where teams would literally turn up with bin bags full of tyres. Then they'd glue them up with different inserts, on different wheels, and test test test until they found the right tyre build combination. You can imagine how expensive that was! And effectively made it cheque book racing. So these days it's control tyres, and a limited number of sets per weekend too. With this in mind, Mike Smith, the man behind the STCC series, developed a good value tyre that you could use all weekend, it used to be called the SSB, and now is called the STCC tyre. They work well, and last for months! So you'll need set of those, don't worry, they're good for our club meetings too. Available on the day, or from www.modeltech.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=184

Car is Awesome! I really like it. Car was really good Sunday with the cooler track temp i lost the handle a bit as track heated up. I'm still working it out.

Loadsa people down at the track practicing today,
10.5 track record was smashed by some two seconds by a rather fast man with a cyclone! 21.306 I'm not sure if this is official as it wasn't in a quali or final.. but either way that's v.quick
Minimum lap had to be dropped to 12 seconds just incase, - quite a few drivers consistently in the low 14s!!

Great meeting, the stcc lot seemed to have a good time and there was a general good vibe about the day. Well done team SHMCC first big meeting of the year done..... One more to go. Yes a great meeting Rob. Highlight for me was Craig taking out the nonce in the red car in each of the 3 qualifying rounds. Makes up for him taking Dan off as he was lapping him, wrecking Jason's car as he was lapping him and interfering with Sam too. Les taught him well ;D And if the piece of garbage had not held him up again at then end as Craig was lapping him for the 2nd time he would have sneaked the A final. But great B final racing which Craig really enjoyed. Sure made up for Saturday.
