Prostock for us - but without our new LTCR shell (in Jensons' championship winning colours). Tried it today and it was mental. If you think an XRAY suffers from a loose rear end you aint seen nothing yet. Has anyone successfully run a LTCR without making any significant changes to their setup? It was awsomely agile going into corners but we could spin it in places you would not believe, going in or coming out. and on the straight

If you think an XRAY suffers from a loose rear end you aint seen nothing yet. Has anyone successfully run a LTCR without making any significant changes to their setup? It was awsomely agile going into corners but we could spin it in places you would not believe, going in or coming out. and on the straight That sounds about right Pete ,Ive allways found the LTCR a little unstable and loose at the rear but it can be a faster shell on certain tracks and conditions The LTCR develops more front end grip and initial steering compared to the speed 6 so can make the car feel a little snatchy/twitchy this can make the car "hook" into and out of corners especially if your set up is a little front end "soft" or if you have too much mechanical roll Try some of theses that work for me!...Raise front roll points a little(lowers the roll center),a stiffer front roll bar and or go up 1 wt in front springs with a little more front droop to throw more wt over the rear wheels under power, this will also reduce the power on steering a Little too and hopefully stabilize the rear. Also try moving the rear wing back to the Max,It may surprise you what a difference 3mm or so can make to the steering and stability Its very rare that my TC6 suffers a badly loose rear so if I change from the 6 to the LTCR depending upon track and grip levels all I change is the front roll bar to slightly heavier and alter the front camber link position to bring back mid corner rotation from the heavier roll bar change...Hope this helps Pete, failing that buy a TC6 ;D Ps theres only one track"Aldershot" where Ive never liked the LTCR no mater what I done to the set up,It just dont cut it round the banking and infield D "too much bite" and its way too unstable into the Chicane for me

Thanks Les; I am glad to hear it wasn't just us! I am chancing an old 2009 (year not XRAY)setup for us tomorrow which handles the change to the front roll centre but not sure on the droop front, I'll check. I will aslo have a look at the rear wing too. Maybe we will give it another trial inbetween qualies
