I run a gear ratio of around 6.7 and the Ansmann 21 motor. Might change some times to about 6.5 but roughly that kind of ratio. Rules for Pro Eco are the same as was for old type stock brushed. Make sure the car is very very free running, no friction loss if possible. Apart from that drive fast don't crash. Simple!

Ive always wondered what the best setup for Pro-Eco would be....
do you aim for a car with lots of Corner speed, running slightly wide sweeping lines, something with lots of roll - a bit like a boat
or do you go super twitchy, turn on a six-pence and stay tight?

Set it up like a boat? only when it's wet Reuben. You need to be able to carry lots of corner speed as the pick up on these motors is not that brilliant. I prefer a slightly harder set up as this seems to promote less rolling resistance, less rear toe in for more top speed and no braking.

Still here but have been relearning Flight Simulator the past couple of days. I will probably load the UK airports today and take off from Bournemouth on Sunday and give you a fly past ;D

what about a 1 way then? I know Chris uses a front diff and I tried his car and it felt very good with the front diff, scrubbed less speed going into the corner vs a spool.. This Pro-Eco stuff is quite tempting to try

The former for Pro Eco I'm afraid. Carrying good corner speed and letting the car flow is much faster when you do not have the super quick power delivery that other classes have.
