AGM Proposal: Championships/Calendar

Hi Guys,

I have just created an alternative 2010 calendar (currently Sundays only) based on a proposal of having 1 (one) Club Championship meeting a month, trying to fit them in around the big regional/national meetings (ignoring the SLCC which probably won't be running next year). If there are any other champs I need to add let me know

See what you think, the idea being that there would always be one big club meeting every month for the championsip. 6 rounds in each, best 5 to count? 3 & 3?

As sub-proposal, I would like to add an End of Season (EOS) team event to the calendar, 2 a year at the end of each club championship, as shown on the proposed calendar - should I propose this on a second thread?

Championship/Calendar Draft Proposal:

I propose that the club championship for 2011 be run as 2 championships over the year, each with 6 rounds & 1 round a month, with the best 5 of 6 to count. The championship rounds would be scheduled to run on those weekends that do not have a major regional or national race meeting as much as possible.

Reasoning for the proposal:

1) To have one big club meeting a month that should boost numbers and provide regular racers in each class
2) To allow those racers who want/need to experiment in other classes some club racing time on weekends other than championship rounds
3) To allow racers to visit other tracks and enter other competitions without effecting their club championship standings
