In case anyone misses this, whilst there is not a vote for wet tyres, only one supplier Schumacher, the tyres for 2012 are different due to the insrt having to be changed.
So if you want to do any racing in BRCA Nats, BRCA Nats Clubman or I assume BTCC, you will not be able to run "old" wet tyres.

I'll go for the money Ian! The good thing is that as we chose to run wets in Q3 the other week and having raced out a laps lead only to watch Reuben and Jason haul us in and go past, we do not need the tyres again now.

cheap tyres for wet club racing next year then. now they will be cheap to get 2nd hand, we definitely need a no wets in the dry rule -> Aimed specifically towards a certain family of racers

Frost on the track as we all know, and was documented to some considerable detail in Attenborough's earlier opus Frozen Asphalt, is the same as water on the track except in a different state.
A no wets in the dry rule seems a good idea to avoid any confusion as long there is no tampering with the definition of what a water molecule is ;D

No No Pete it's minipins in the frost not wets so the "No Wets" rule don't count!

No problem Ian. I have just ordered a wallpaper stripper gizmos and on frosty days I will be coming down early and turning the frost into water ;D
