Hi everyone, just needed to let you all know that we are planning to attended the Bransgore village fete again this year to promote the club and the hobby.. The day is May 7th (bank holiday Monday) and the fete kicks off from 1pm.. As with last year, the plan is to hold a FREE race meeting on the large new tennis court next to the hall.. we will be using the indoor rope to mark the track out so unlike last year there shouldn't be the issues with car breaking on the cones and track marking tape.. We will need to get to the field late morning to get setup and ready for the fete start, but I'd expect 1st heat to the line just after 1pm so even if you can't help setup you may be able to make the first heat.. Terry C will also be supporting with a small "shop" display so if the weather holds it should be as successful as last year if not better!! I'm looking for a minimum of 8 drivers so we can run two heats but the more the merrier If you are free May bank holiday and can help out or just come along a race.. Please post below in this thread.. For those who don't know where the fete is held its at Bransgore Recreation Ground off Burley Road, Post code BH23 8AY should get you close!!

OK update for those who are available to help or who are just coming down to race..
We need to be setup for a 12pm start.. If you can help setup our area and track, please can you arrive at the Bransgore rec at 11am so we've an hour to sort everything..
If you're going to race you need to be at the rec by 12pm if possible so we can get the first heat to the line for arounf 12:30ish..
I'll book everyond in who has said they are going to come on this thread..
Thanks
Big Dave

Sorry guys, I won't be coming down today. With getting home at 2am and a 5 1/2 hour drive to Newcastle this afternoon (found out on friday - blame cineworld ), its a little tight for time when the weather will delay us racing. Hope it all goes well, and I should see you Sunday

Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who managed to get down to the fete today.. After a damp start weather sorted its self out and we all had a great meeting, grip on the tennis court was amazing! Allowing slicks in the wet!! We generated alot of interestand got a couple of good suggestions for next year!
Thanks again to all

James and I enjoyed the afternoon racing. someone must have good connections to allow the sun out to play for the afternoon.
