HOPEFULLY??? Come on Ian commit!!! Well the intention is to be there but I have to keep my options open...you never know, a phone call from Keira Knightley or Jennifer Lopez might mean I am required elsewhere...... well I can dream can't I.

I am thinking of changing my booking in entry to stock and running 17.5 blinky for some close corner speed racing.
I will also have my laptop with me sunday with the hobbywing software, if anyone needs any software installing on the day, feel free to ask.

i saw mr lloyd running the 27turn motor, proving there is no school like the old school Oh trust me I would much prefer to have a single motor option in any racing these days. Just makes it easier for everyone and much more competitive but hey, there you go. When a "faster" option is included in the rules even if it is really "old school" then that is what any racer must go for don't you think. Not that I am a competitive kind of person..... ;D ;D I will be bringing my comm lathe, spare brushes of varying sorts and silver content, spare bushes, magnet enhancer, etc etc. At least it will give me something to play with in between rounds.

I've been watching this thread with interest. I think I might join the 17.5 Stock class... I won't make a final decision until the day, but i'm feeling like this is the most likely option. Plus I could do with reminding myself just how good the Mi4 is in Stock! Might even fit the kit springs for good measure

really really good racing from everyone today, enjoyed myself immensely and I am definitely interested in racing stock more from now on! 19 302 with no layshaft bearings.... not bad . I took some photos, but didnt realise I had "Cloudy day" setting on my phone, so they look at little red dl.dropbox.com/u/20730/IMAG0290.jpgdl.dropbox.com/u/20730/IMAG0288.jpg

Agreed.. Stock racing is awesome.. Where it lacks in the excitement of running a fast motor, it certainly makes up for it with the buzz you get from the closeness of the racing. I'm keen to continue running this class too.

Well looks like the gauntlet is down! Who's gonna be the first to get a 20 lapper in stock?? Reuben was close today and it is looking feasible! May be next weekend is the one if track temps are up a little and mistakes are few

The brushed 27t just started hitting 20s before brushless became the in thing. After today i have got an idea on where i used to be with ratios so with new lipos and fresh rubber i will be on the pace again just got to buy a bundle of brushes

I remember you hitting 20 laps jeff and also your 27 turn being faster than my 19 turn! Was the motor brca legal at the time? I'm really looking forward to running blinkey when we go outdoors! Was always close racing when Simon crabb, terry and Ian were running 17.5 gen 1!
