Not sure on the current RRC rules. Forecast is rain all day. Will we race in the wet or will it be cancelled. Planning on turning up but if the rule is no wet racing then a final check on Saturday night might result in a lie in!

Hi Pete, Plan would be to race if at all possible as long as there is no major standing water and it's not bucketing down.. However bad weather might put enough drivers off anyway in which case we'll look to re schedule if possible

Stock blinky is most popular (same as SICC) no tyre restrictions 28s or 32s normally.. Also run a boosted class but. Only one guy in it so far this year!
Would be good to see you both, currently weather is looking like showers..

I for one am doing the "sunshine dance" already. I reckon we could be lucky and get a reasonable day out of it.

Well, what a meeting!! Firstly big thanks to all who managed to turn out After the forecast was wrong again and we had constant light rain almost all day, tyre choice was tricky as slicks or wets seem to give the same level of grip or lack of!!! We did manage to get all 6 rounds in and a very quick hand out of certificates (sorry for the non laminated 1st's).. Oh and I almost forgot the race control PC died after round 1 so we had to grab the indoor laptop and re-setup the whole meeting!! (anyone got and old PC kicking around??) Anyway, it was a great day with lots of SHMCC banter and laughs.. Just hope we have a less eventful round 4

Brilliant day depite the on/off rain. Some really close racing especially when the track was wet and the grip came up. Just awesome to have the car on the edge of grip and sliding all the time.
Good to have a decent turnout as well and so close between us all.
Thanks to all, really looking forward to the next one.

I'll see what I can do about a PC Dave, not sure if we have any left at the office going spare... Glad to hear it was a good meeting. I had a fun time in the lower end of the clubmans at Eastbourne (lovely track). I've since found out that I had a seized bearing on the front spool which was limiting my turn-in. I managed to win the D from 5th in the end, but should have been mid-top C really... Enjoyable day though, especially trying to work out what was going on with the car! Very much worth going, and I'd definitely recommend visiting if you haven't already . Gearing 1 tooth higher than Bashley, although got pretty warm as the Sun came out for final 2!
