OK so I think we all pretty much enjoyed SICC this year, and I know Darryl is already working on the 2014 series He has asked everyone to propose any tweeks or changes to the 2013 formular to make the the 2014 championship even better! So if you have any suggestions please post them here for discussion and submission..

Set up the championship so you can contest it without having to race indoors. Plenty of indoor championships during the winter.

I do agree with Pete, but I do know a lot of the host clubs last year were indoor clubs. Unless they look at running a shorter SICC indoor series on the weekends that Chippenham don't run over the winter....
I would definitely prefer to be running outdoors over the summer - that round in Frome was baking!!

Pre-booking and pre-payment before the meeting - perhaps look at it being added to central booking to reach a wider audience?
That way if you have booked in and paid then you are more likely to want to turn up. The clubmans run a rule that if you don't turn up without letting them know 24hrs before you are not allowed to run the next round (harsh but fair)

Sorex 28 & 32's to be allowed for Stock TC.
Also run driver ability in the qualifying to ensure you are in heats of similar ability drivers.
Re indoor vs outdoor... Why not run championships for both indoor, outdoor and a overall for drivers? I'd suggest to keep the costs down you would only have trophies for overall top 3..
Club points would remain based on overall finishes.

Just to make sure I was not understood. My suggestion was only that, say, if 5 rounds are counted then if there are 5 outdoor tracks then us non-indoor racers can compete. Of course that means we do not have any rounds to drop but I can live with that penalty

I get what Pete's saying . Only slight problem is lack of tracks to be honest . The series was set up in a way this year so noone had any advantage . Eg Dan Blake is out of his comfort zone on tarmac . In the area we ran in the only way to get enough rounds to make the series worth while is to include both carpet and outdoor clubs .

Bashley Dorset Frome (if a little small) Would be great to see Aldershot, Eastbourne and Adur on the list for next year

Good idea Mike, I would say though that whilst I like the Eastbourne track I suspect that that and Adur may be a bit of a way for the westward clubs. You can get from Ringwood to Aldershot in an hour but Eastbourne is about 2.5 hours and Adur is further. Aldershot and Eastbourne would do me to get 5 asphalts in ;D I don't like semolina either Dave
