I spoke with Dave today regarding DIY transponders as I've just bought the bits to build one myself.

I'm hoping to build the payalnegs version as it has the voltage regulator to give 5v to the rest of the circuit. Dave, would you have any advice that could help with the antenna part of the unit? I have some basic electronics knowledge having build guitar pedals/preamps, but I always just follow a schematic, not invent these things myself.
