Went to a car boot sale this morning, never buy anything so no great hopes but the wife wanted to go so......
Anyway, almost at the last stall and I see a Tamiya Mini box, asking if there was anything inside it turns out there was a very good condition Tamiya Mini with Acoms radio, battery and
charger. Shell was pretty much unmarked and car looked to be in excellent condition. It was the M03 version but still.....
So I asked how much, " Wont take less than £40" I was told. Hey ho, only had £20 on me, always the way for sure. Was the last car boot of the season and the guy was from a long way away.

I've never found anything worth buying at a car boot sale. But did pick up a Tamiya Twin Detonator at Lymington tip once when dropping some asbestos off, £2 (that included the radio which went on ebay for £15). And recently when at Millbrook tip, some Koyosho rally car and another Tamiya buggy, both for £5.

I've not been to a boot sale for ages... £40 is a bit steep for a boot sale IMO sounds like ebay money to me.. You used to be able to go with a fiver in your pocket and come back with a bag full of rubbish
