Hi Paul, yep, both of those can be used at our track, ideal novice starter cars. We have a tt-01 or two as demo cars.
Until you can go round the track for a whole race without falling off they're ideal!
Come down on a Wednesday evening or a Sunday daytime and see what we're about and ask a million questions of anyone who'll listen!

the tt-01 is a very good starting car in my opinion. used one at the start of the year both indoors and out. they are simple to maintain, give you a solid platform to use on the track without having to worry about set-ups, parts are easy to get hold of and relatively inexpensive.
come down to the track, have a chat with people, we are all about having fun and you will always find someone to help you through the day!

ive only been going for 2 - 3months now. i started with a sprint 2.
it was nothing special but it got me round the track nicely and allowed me to crash it without the worry of the parts snapping and if they did they were cheap to replace...
so yeh both those cars are perfect for starter cars!
bring them down sunday if u can make it, try them both out - see what one u feel better driving with.
but everyone at the track/club are super helpful and are always willing to lend a hand, spare parts etc.
and i know most people say that they are helpful........... but i guarantee you will not find a nicer, friendlier, helpful bunch of people in rc racing!
the fun is with SHMCC

does anyone know if reality sell a few body shells that will fit the tamiya tt-01 chassis as im gunna go get one on tuesday as well as some tyres to use on your track so can anyone tell me what shell will be good and what tyres to get to.

Post by yellowshark on Jul 27, 2008 19:11:25 GMT
Yes they do. Alfa 159 Dodge Stratus 2 Mazda 6 all work well on our track Mazda speed 6 and lightweight 6 I would not recommend for a beginner
If you are not into painting oyur shell, Terry normally has some pre painted ones too
Suggest you let Terry advise you on tyres.
And suggest you give him a quick ring before going down to make sure has suitable stock for you, he normally does
