Went down the track to to dust of the cobwebs. Now you are meant to long store Lipos at 7. something volts. After our last race, late Novemmber or 1st weekend in December I assumed we would be racing again before Xmas and charged up the Lipos when we got home. But we didn't so they have been sitting there for 2.5 months. I put them on the charger on Friday night and they went up to 8.39/8.4 within 5 or 6 seconds. OK I thought. But no, 3 of them died within 6-8 laps and the 4th ran 26 laps but still getting on for 20% down. They were all OK after a recharge. No idea what was going on but clear that is why the rule is not to long store at full charge. Glad it wasn't the 1st round of the RRC

strange indeed, I have a 5000 demon that I wont use till slcc practice days, so I may run that once a week just to keep it cycling. :?
