Hi guys, we are running at Yately this weekend to get some SLCC practice. One of the entrants is a certain master Horton so there is clearly some club honour to defend. ;D Any of you run 10.5 there last year? What FDR did you end up with? Did you make any specific setup changes? I seem to recall that grip conditions were similar to Bashley(?) but we were running 27T. Ride height up or down? I also thought about stiffening the suspension to get good speed through the downhill chicane. Alternatively though I guess you could argue that you need to overtake on the right hander after the chicane and maybe ensuring the grip as you enter and negotiate that bend is of paramount importance? Thoughts appreciated.

I understand parts of the track have been changed..If I remember corectly I was'nt far from Bashley set up ..as for gearing, you made need to go slightly taller the strait is long and the "power on" starts under the rostrum

Lol I hope Dan is concentrating on not scratching his new car rather than going fast; shame they have lowered the kerbs, they would have worried him (that is the change I think Les). Thanks for the offer of help Glen, your sugegstion on FDR for Aldershot worked for us so we will pop over for a natter anyway. Dan is faster but on past performance I think Craig assimilates a "strange" track faster so I am hoping they will have a good battle although with your mentoring we will probably get hammered

We didn't go up on Saturday, we didn't want to terminate this new brushless technology. Jeez everyone kept telling me how cheap it is, now I am going to have to buy another 009 so we can convert the 008s to 19T We left at 7am on Sunday but by Winchester decided to abort and go back to the dry of Bashley ;D. Managed 7 dry races with brushless technology, a lap PB and Craig went deep into 20 laps for the first time so well pleased. Great result, a trophy eh, sounds like a perfect end to perhaps a less than perfect day. You better watch out though, Mark is back on top form so we are coming to get you Aldershot boys ;D. Oh no we're not, Mark is an independent, blast
