Overnight Ed is placed 16th with each qualie round improving. Go Ed Some notable names a lot further down - wet yesterday? - so final qualie to day will be interesting!

It was a stange day really... who'd have thought that with my scores of 26, 23 and 15 I would end up in the D!!!! Still managed to win the final, although was a little lucky in that Steve Landers PT stopped counting after 9laps.... Had a blistering race with him in the last leg, one dry tyres when the track was soaked... was faster, but just couldn't find a way by, until I chopped the hairpin a bit much and had to give the place back. To give an idea of the times... my fastest for the weekend was a 16.7 I think... in that final it was a 23!!!
Weather more than anything was the decider this weekend, unfortuantly didn't really go my way. In the first q the track was greasy, and then rained mid run, so not much I could about that, and lost that set of tyres effectivly. second and third runs were good though. 4th round, it started to rain very heavily about 7mins before the start, so had to a make a call to switch out the electronics to the wetboxed stuff... managed it, but then desoldered a battery connector, so taped it, and managed forgot to plug the PT in the wrong way round. If I'd have performed in that run like I did in 5, then middle of the C should have been on. C'est la vie
Overall happy though, car was very good on old tyres, and had oodles of grunt, which bodes well for Halifax! Even just about manged to keep on top of the reporting side too, look out for the short report on the RACER website sometime this week.
Regards Ed
