I thought it'd be fun if all those who raced added a little paragraph about their weekends! For me it was fantastic! had great fun both nights, many thanks to Les and Chris for allowing me to spoon with Taz at the back of the Caravan! Great practice day on saturday, however most of the day was taken up with attempting to master the appropriate stock spec ratio and punch setting! Race day was a different affair! loadsa rain from about 9AM stopped play for Round 1 Round 2 was v.damp, round 3 was almost dry! Overall qualifying for superstock looked something like this: 1:Jason Mogridge (sp?) 2: Ian Newton 3: Barry Staples 4: some bloke 5: Gray Staples 6: Matt sedgley 7: some bloke 8: John Pryor 9: Some bloke 10: Martin young 16: Adam Roe Finals didn't run due to yet more rain so qualification result stand for points! A fantastic result for all of South Hants, You all made the weekend very special! Matt

Hell of a weekend ,lots of laughter not much serious racing on race day though. Lots of hard work with fdrs and set ups went in the bin on race day, rain saw to that ,quallies were a bit of a lotery with the track condions, set ups and tyre choice,but.. "didnt we do well!" ;)super result lots of points in all classes..cant wait to see the points tally.....Game on Aldershot My only dry'ish run in pro stock saw me hit a spun car just after the start, this tweaked the car badly but I still made 7th in the A..one day my luck will change In stock I made 2nd Matt H took 1st "only just "...game on Matt ;D

well, Saturday went like this: Ended up running the FDR i turned up with... lucky guess i reckon Spent to much time playing with FDR's rather than setup - not that it mattered in the end... anyway I seem to be cursed at cotsworlds.... 2nd practice run I hit the pit wall coming down the straight and took the left side of the car off.. Total damage: 1 wishbone pin. 1 C-hub 1 bent driveshaft thread OH yeh, broken chassis I also dropped my transmitter - which broke the ariel and gave me a range of 3ft, but keith saved the day by doing some soldering!!! and its still strong! But all my speedo's suvived the weekend end so Top job!

Was looking forward to race, First time at cotswold heard so many stories... How long the straight was and how good the track is.....Gutted, Had abit of pratice on saturday with new car (009) learnt i needed more pinions (17.5). Sunday Raining, ran Wet car (27t) Managed 11/311 Then missed out on finals, Just a shame so many racer's called it day, not one i'd like to remember. Racing was over before it began in my eyes

Sorry three paragraph one for each of us. Plagued with interference on both Sat and Sunday struggled to put it mildly, I’m still trying to work out how in the only run that I completed (well nearly completed car stopped 2 corners from home!) I managed an A final finish and my fastest lap was faster than my best in the dry on Saturdays practice. Great evenings on both the Friday and Saturday made the ‘experience’ very much enjoyed. Roberts car was great all weekend and he loved it, the ‘submarine’ moment when he hit a 2” deep puddle in the first qualifier was one to remember . He’s very happy with a 1st in the B ;D Lucas enjoyed the wet driving , he drove well all day kept the car on the track (considering he was running a brushless setup only sealed with blue tac a feat to be proud off), Made 8th in the A. Only downside he’s gutted about not racing the finals in the horrific conditions (I have to say I’m not!!!).

well that was a strange weekend weather wise, rain stopped play which really isnt cricket is it. A day spent working out how to get the best out a new esc pretty much went out the window when the rain came and then then a frantic pit change when i realized my wet tyres really wernt attached to the rims produced a late start and a respectable finish with help from mr manning. Big well done to the matt s. For placing 6th in qualy and to the big newtonator for a massive 2nd place. I will like to point out that the practice lap time of 19.14 which he claims was a full lap puts him in with a shot of being an MP in the next election ;D also i would like o state that the race director at no stage tryed to get get 1 of our club members to facilitate a rain dance being held after his qualifying time and no rain dance was held over the entire weekend, thank god! As ever the evenings produce much fun and there are Strong rumors that 1 of our club members reveled his fetish for pink rubber gloves and the absolutely scandalous allegations of nappie usage! I can exclusively state that no photographic proof of this incident has yet been posted, although i am open to bribes either way
