ok so the situation is.... me and a friend had a lil mishap today....... trying to shorten the wires between esc and motor we realised the solder holding the wires to to motor has an incredable high melting point so exchanged the iron for the blow torch....opps lol solder still stands high and mighty but heat traveeled through the wires and now every fault code flashes on the esc...
now i need a new brushless esc but havent a clue where to start,i want a high end 1 that will last and gives maxium performance.. what do i need to look for ??

Hi Steve, I recently got myself an LRP Sphere TC for £50 on ebay. It was a great deal and you will struggle to find that again. However saying that.. If I managed to get one at that price, then their is no reason why you couldn't get lucky too.

From what I understand the LRP Sphere and the Nosram equivalent is the same speed controller, but with different packaging.
Your right about ebay.. its a gamble. Luckily for me though I have been okay with my ebay purchases. Your best bet if your not a gambling man then is to try and buy from a racer who is known for looking after their rc gear.
