So I have never had a brand new tourer before (with my cyclone's being 2nd hand).
But will be soon building a new car from scratch! I think im fairly competent at doing the building side, but with most things a little pre-assembly preperation is always good in most things.
So before assembly:
anything need to be done with the Chassis plates? (some people mention gluing the edges).
Any prep on the alloy bits?
Any Help / Advice / experience ?
;D

always best to seal the carbon , i use clear nail varnish ! gives a deeper shine and doesnt soak in too much put it in the fridge for 1 hour so it thins out a little , so its easier to apply hth gw

So chill the nail varnish for hour before hand.
Which part of carbon on the Mi4 do you seal? do you do the top deck aswell as the main, how about the camber link pieces?

On my Mi4 i've only done the Top and Bottom deck, Front and Rear Shocks towers. I havent bothered with the Rear Trans-Links, Camber Plates and the Steering Brace.
