Anyone got any ideas about antenna length. I have looked for info all over the Internet for info but can't find anything. I noticed not everyone has it outside there car. Does this make much diffrence to radio signal at the short distance we use them at ? I know the they need to be at the same plane. ie both pointing up. But will length or coiling it on a short internal tube really make a noticable diffrence at bashley and new Milton. Cheers Darren

It should im most occasions be ok, ive only once had interferance on 2.4ghz when running the receiver ariel inside the car, and that was at Southend. For Bashley and New Milton it will be fine.

Hi Darren, Both Antz & myself run the cheapo Acoms 2.4 gear and run a 3-4 inch tube in side the body with the antenna wire coiled where needed.. Don't have any issues at Bashley or the Memorial hall.. We just observe the basic rules re-wires.. keep the thin ones away from the thick ones!!!
