So this is what the people want next year
1/10 touring cars will run 2 classes, stock will be 17.5 or 27, prostock will be 13.5, 19 and 10.5
Lipo batteries will be permitted in Minis but with a minimum weight limit (TBA), Minis running LiPo will be subjected to random weight checks.
There will be no change to the current list of permitted Mini chassis.
All Hop-Ups will be permitted in Mini classes
Sunday race format will remain as 4+3, best 2 to count
Wednesday indoor and outdoor will use final finishing positions to count toward championship points
Sundays and Wednesdays will have their championships reduced to 8 rounds with 5 to count, broken up with a funday race between rounds 4 and 5 and another at the end, funday races will be various events (team/caravan etc.) decided at the start of the championship
LiPo Cut-outs must be used with all LiPo batteries
No warm up laps will be permitted after the 1min signal. Anyone already on a practice lap must slow down to a walking pace and return to the pits at the 1min signal,
All new rules will take affect as of jan 1st 2009
The SHMCC newsletter will also return under the new name "the wheels in motion", Ian Newton will be writing and publishing it with the help of a few of the other members, the first copy is due to go out in the middle of December. If anyone wishes to write an article, then please contact Ian Newton through this forum.
The Committee will consist of Keith Davies (Chairman/Secretary), Matt Sedgley (Treasurer), Robin Howett, Les Baldry, Ian Newton, Geoff Garland, Reuben Manning and Jim Goodall.
