Good racing last night, cheers guys. (Sorry I had to dash off before clearing up, but I did get there at 6pm doors open to set up.)
Mini was so close, fastest laps within a tenth of a second, side by side for laps at a time, excellent fun!

Really good mini racing last night. So close! Enjoyed every second. Looking forward to next year and some more close racing indoors.
If I don't see anyone again beforehand I hope you all have a good time at Christmas and hopefully someone will give you all those hop ups you are waiting for. (OK fat chance!)
Have fun and take care everyone.

yeh it was good fun last night and i got some stuff tested . how did you find the track? I thought it would be an idea to try something different, and those blip dots stopped that side of the track being moved and knocked about, I think we should use them more often on the hair-pins / chicanes.

Yes, I liked the bot dots on the corners.
Allowed you to be precise and it you went to tight you'd rumble them rather than getting stuck on a rope.
Agreed they'd be great on tight corners, but maybe not on the sweepers as hitting one full speed is a bit lairy. Let's use them!

I like them too! - maybe we should paint them white or yellow so they're really obvious! I hit one full chat and it wasn't too bad, I also enjoyed how tight it allowed you to run to apex's without getting dragged in... they slowed you down plenty when you went over them too.. luuuurrrvvveeeelleeeee!
I suggest we keep the current layout and run it for the first 6 weeks of the championship (starting first meeting in Jan')

Painting them is a brilliant idea!
Maybe someone could do them over Xmas?

Hated those dots.If you hit one on a corner the car ends up upside down.these should be binned not painted!

You obviously need to get an M05 Paul. Either that or stop hitting the dots! ;D

There was originally 6 different wide boy tracks created last year, we've ran our current layout for a long time, a change will be a nice challenge.. keeping the layout for 6 or so race meetings allows for racers to see improvements.
Interestingly Newbury run a different track every week, as do Bransgore, Hamworthy used to, but I think they've moved onto longer rotation similar to ours...
