As we will all be itching to get out after an xmas to play with our new toys and escape the food / arguments / post-party tidying. Lets try some racing.
At the moment Boxing day is looking very wet, so i Propose Sunday the 27th.
At least a practice day, but if we get enough we can run a nice relaxed meeting.
Anyone up for this?

As it's an "unscheduled" meeting, lets say we meet around 9:30am.. Don't want to shock the system to much!!

Yes a very fun days racing. Came all prepared with a pro-stock motor, as Pete seemed keen on running, but a no-show, so it got swapped out for a 17.5 and had some fun.
really looking forward to some grip on the outside track now! rather than careful careful little throttle if feeling confident....
However again and again I am amazed at how good at 17.5 motor is in the damp - just perfect for the grip the track has to offer, and you can get close enough to the car infront to keep the crowd happy.
Thanks to Ant for running the meeting.

I came with 13.5 in the car too, a frustrating motor change first thing in the morning I must admit.
Still a good tyre choice and some clean lines gave 17 laps easily! many thanks to Reubes for some close racing!
Hope to see you all on the 3rd? - Gentleman's agreement on 17.5?

Good work Im with you guys, bring back the summer weather!!!, although still great fun in the cold with the occasional drifting around corners.. For those who were there today.. Just to let you know, the stock spec is alive and well, it just had a bit of a tantrum earlier because of the weather Martin: you have a PM.

hehe nice video. Its amazing how much speedo effects speed. Jason was using a 13.5 and an Nosram Evil speedo, mine was a 17.5 with a stock spec and matts was a 17.5 with sphere. Me and matt were comparible on speed, he had more pull out of the corners that i did, but i was able to edge away on the straights. Then the 17.5 stock spec was able to pull 3ft on a 13.5 Evil down the straight !
