As its the first round of the first Championship this year. Theres championship points up for grabs. Stock 17.5 / 27t Super Stock 13.5 / 19t Pro Stock 10.5 Eco Dont forget all classes are now 1350 and there is to be no reverse used in Stock, Super Stock or Pro Stock 3+3 with 2 finals to count. Who fancies a bit of outdoors on the tarmac! Superstock 13.5 for me! Weather looks dry on Sunday, but lots of Rain saturday so it could be damp.... but apparently not to cold

Just a heads up folks, Mr Sedgley has just conducted a quick track inspection.. Not good news, track looks to have a few more cracks & holes due to ice damage but is still OK to run if you dodge the puddles.. However the field is very water logged with a "stream" running down from the field above following the drive into the pitting area. The rostrum cabin is sat in a couple of inches of water at the door end!! If everyone is still up for it we will be at Bashley for 8:30ish to review the situation, however be advised conditions trackside may result in the meeting being cancelled. Fingers crossed

Hi Chris,
Sorry no chance of a indoor meeting tomorrow if we can' t race out side. we need to give the hall 48 hours notice if possible. We didn't expect so much water track side!!! Hopefully enough water will have run of by tomorrow morning :-)

Dave I can confirm Matts observations today. I went to the track to get some reference dimensions and there was a stream running down from the entrance gate. I almost got stuck in the adjacent touring field, managed to reverse out in the end...lol It is VERY wet.

Yeh it was a little to wet. bubbles everywhere underfoot, and small lakes forming. The track itself hasnt been damaged as much as ide thought through the ice and snow and its still perfectly useable. Shame there wasnt a good enough turn out to race even if it were dry, but i assumed the weather and wetness would have put a lot of people off. Cya thursday

I popped down at 11.00am to get some racing video and the track still had puddles on. So looks like you made the right call to abandon it.
See you all thursday.
