Hi Everyone, As i think some of you may know I will be running the Bournemouth Bay Half Marathon on 28th March 2010 for charity . All the money I raise will be going to help support Julia's House, Dorset's only hospice dedicated to children with life limiting conditions. Donations (no matter how large or small) will be greatly appreciated and can be made through the JustGiving link below or if you prefer I can pester you all with the paper sponsorship forms. www.justgiving.com/Martin-YoungIf you would like to know more about Julia's House please have a look at their website : www.juliashouse.orgThanks in advance Martin

Good luck Martin, Hope you've been training hard Thanks for the donation Jason. Training hard, does that involve eating and drinking too much! I've got to say I am finding it hard I think the legs could do with the rest of the body loosing some weight. QUE 'Porky' jokes from Ian ;D

Well done for going for it mate,
I know the charity well.. My mother in law has worked for them for the last 12ish years, almost since it started..
A very worth while cause indeed!

Hi Everyone. Just a last plea for sponsorship, only one week to go to the 'Painful day'. For all those that have given me money a big thank you, for those who haven't it's not to late. If you would like to donate either use the link below or PM and I will add you to the paper sponsorship form. www.justgiving.com/Martin-YoungAn update thanks to a lot of very generous people I have managed to raise so far just shy of £600, so with a little more help that figure could be even higher. Thanks everyone. ;D

Hey guys this is Jen, Martin's other half, Martin has been away so I thought you would all like to know how he got on with the half marathon, well he managed to run the whole distance without stopping and he did it in a time of 2 hours and 12 minutes and he didn't even look like he'd broken a sweat, we're all very proud of him, I did take some pictures and will put them up later oh and it's still not to late to give a donation! And a big thankyou to those that already have, we will let you know the final total raised as soon as we can, but as it stands at the moment it is more than £700, Jen
