Hi, just wanted to know if the published F1 Cup is still going ahead, with the first round next Sunday?
I have been following a number of threads here (including 'history repeating itself' - phew!!!) but haven't seen anything on the F1 cup lately and the 'motor tbc' looks unresolved.
I may have missed more info on the forum so any help would be appreciated as I'd like to participate if possible.
Thanks Paul

Thanks for the info - nothing in the way of confirmation yet? Could be just the two of us this Sunday! Still won't be as dull as yesterdays Grand Prix though Thanks again Paul

Hi Guys. It was decided at the commitee meeting at the begining of the month that the motors to be used are: "F1 championship motor class agreed, initially 21T Ansmann, Tamiya black or Silver can will be allowed." <- that is the note from the commitee meeting. Apolagies for not updating the threads. Im sure the announcement thread will be updated when someone with the right forum permissions is able to update it. But yes the F1 Championship is go go go. No re-fuelling during the 5 minute races, and no tyre changes . We dont advise pit stops, but your more than welcome to try one See you sunday

Simon and I will both be there running F10s with Tamiya black cans. The F1 poster is on the SHMCC web site home page. www.shmcc.org or go to the top of this page and the link to the home page is there. Just scroll down and you will find it...with all the regs.

No re-fuelling during the 5 minute races, and no tyre changes . We dont advise pit stops, but your more than welcome to try one Reuben. I thought we had to run both soft and hard compound tyres in the race. I have been practicing tyre changes with my pit team all weekend. LOL ;D I will be down on sunday running Formula 10. I will also bring some spares and wheels & tyres.

I suggest we decide who is going to win now and then we can just follow each other round for a few hours just like the real thing.
