For those who dont want to go down the route of "lap top track side programing" but just want a press and play speedo that delivers the goods! I have been testing the LRP version to its limits on a track that needs top end speed and midfield grunt.I coupled it with what I would call a good all round motor the 13.5 GM...Does it work? yes with out a doubt, its as fast as anything I ran against,Faster than some 10.5s ,the power delivery was very smooth, but importantly the brakes are outstanding. This speedo has no "back stick " brake settings to worry about ,it seems to sense the motors speed and apply just enough brakes no mater how fast your corner speed entry is...basically I could stand the car on its nose with confidence in any corner with very little fear of the wheels suddenly locking. Ps Ian Newton and his Photon(with early GM speedo/Trinity EA combo) set a new unofficial 17.5 track record at Aldershot yesterday....Tighten you Apexs chap and a 20 lapper is yours

So far this speedo has proven to be as good as anything else and a good bet for anyone wanting to upgrade without having to use a lap top. Apart from it been easy to use with outstanding brakes the main difference for me is that it pulls all the way through the rev range,ie you don't have to worry about setting turbo boost points (as per lap top programmables) for different tracks! It also seems to match extremely well with the torquy type motor, matched this way your car may not sound like a jet fighter but it will be fast and you will be able to stop with confidence
