I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who make South Hants so very welcoming and fun, you are all responsible for making the club what it is today.
It is with much regret I've taken the decision to stop racing TC at all levels. Since my return from Kenya in the summer, my enjoyment from racing has gradually got lower and lower, recently it has dropped significantly. That combined with my desire to buy a house, and some changing priorities mean that I can no-longer sustain racing at a level that I'd like to compete at.
I'm in the process of selling the majority of my equipment (many thanks Martin!) Certainly I'm going to take a break for a while from racing all together.
I guess as I'll no longer have a handle on what's going on in the hobby, my usefulness as a member of the committee will be vastly reduced, so I'll take this opportunity to stand down from the committee. I've always tried to do my best for the club, which may not have pleased everyone all the time, I'm yet to meet anyone who can do that.
I wish the Club and the Committee every success in the future. good luck with the resurfacing and other important projects.
Matt
