I have started to us the CS stuff. Same as we use indoors but for outdoor use only. I like it mainly as it can be painted on and seems consistent throughout the race. Never had a problem with the Nosram stuff though. Just like to use a brush.

cheers reubes i was'nt sure if there was any particular stuff that suits a particular track as well as bashley Most of the commercial addative works, its the lenghth of time left on ,the heat and how its applied is the important bit! personally I think there's a lot of hype on the type needed for certain tracks....Motor arena comes to mind.Carpet addative was apparently the only stuff to use but a spirit based tarmac addative and Glens WFX oil based slime proved to be just as good,in fact the WFX lasted longer and the spirit based was too powerfull when the grip came up. Ill have a chat to Glen for you he may well be mixing some WFX for west London

Ok heads up for those needing WFX at west London, bring your bottles and pop and see Glen on the day. Glen may say different but this is how I apply It. Brand new rubber.clean surface to remove any release agent, give the rubber a good coating for 30mins then bake on at 60deg for 15mins. Used rubber, throughly clean surface, apply 20mins befor you race and bake at 60deg for last 10mins using kitchen towel in the cups to soak up the excess. There seems to be a latest trend of baking the additive on with Cling film or something similar, then carefully wiping of the excess just befor you go out,I have confidence in my method and Ive yet to try this so ive no idea how long it should be cooked for or at what temp.

hi guys , ive now mixed some fresh wfx addative so if you would like some come over and see me (i will be in or near the schumacher gazeebo) .
there are many ways to treat your tyres with baking etc but the most important thing is to make sure the tyres are dry from any addative . see you saturday gw
