Was speaking to some of the guys at our club today who said a few of you were thinking of coming over for the day next meeting February 26th. Not sure who had spoken to who but was just wondering on numbers to expect and the class' you plan on running, if of course you are still planning on popping over! A few of us came over a little before xmas for the Miller Mile which we all enjoyed ( the bottle of Jonny Walker was especially enjoyed), and it would be nice to return the courtesy. Most of our details can be found on our site www.iowrcc.co.uk and we run a three race meetings free for visitors to the club so may help keep cost down a little. If anyone would like to know more and get in touch my number is 07796265593. Andy

Hi Andy, Yes we've planned to come over on the 26th for a little racing I've been organising it with Keith from your club.. At the moment there's a mini bus full (6 drivers) two will be racing 13.5 and the other four will be running our "pro eco" cars which are now running HPI 15T sealed cans.. Speed wise these are on a par with old 27T stock class or a 13.5 in "blinky" mode.. But we're happy to race where ever you can fit us in We're booked on the 8am Lymington ferry so should be with you around 9am ish.. I'll PM you the drivers names and transponder numbers later this week so we can get pre booked in if thats OK.. Cheers Dave

Its more of a stock blinky (13.5t) class than a total eco class like you run but everyone should be close in performance from what i saw when we came over there. As for setting yourselves up our track is similar to yours so you shouldn't need to mess with your setups too much. May be a little taller gearing. All i would suggest is that you all charged the night before because to fit the extra numbers in we will probably be doing our best to start at 9.30. Should give you enough time to get there and then we will all be ready to go as the track will already be built the night before and you should all be booked in and ready to go if we can get the details in advance. We have a forum on our website if people would like to book themselves in to save you some work chasing numbers around. But i'm guessing you have your race computer to hand with all the details on!
