Nice close racing tonight everyone, great fun in all classes.
It was noticed by the people clearing away that it always seems to be the same group of people pitch in to tidy up...
Everyone who races is expected to help to either set up or clear away, many hands making light work. So if you've raced, please lend a hand, it's all appreciated.
(That's also why the biggest heat tends to be the last one to run - so the maximum amount of people are still around when racing finishes! The hints aren't working though!)

A quick reminder guys, please stay behind to help out packing away, it's only polite, especially if you're not there at 6pm to set up.
I was in an early heat last night, but I was still one of the last to leave the hall and we were shocked how few people there were to pack away.

I think it would be a good idea to put the message on a slip of paper and make sure that everyone gets a copy when they book in.

OK I feel this is starting to become an issue, so it's moan time. EVERYONE is expected to help (in some way) to set up or pack away. It shouldn't be left to the minority to cater for the majority, I know it's difficult for some to get to the hall early enough to set up but if you haven't helped set up, then can I please ask that you stay behind to help pack away, It's only fair. If it's always the same members staying behind and packing away every week, it wont be long before they also refuse to do it. It's a big job that's made very quick and easy when alot of people help out, but with just 3 or 4 it becomes a long, hard job that you don't want to do that often. please bare this in mind and do your bit to help without wanting to take away from the importance of the message (i was in the minority when i went on wednesdays) but from the purposeful tone of our glourious new chairmans message maybe we need a new section on the forum for chairmans moans and comments, im sure we will all read it honest ;D
