Hi all. I am new here.
Just found this site by googling RC clubs in Hapshire. If you are still racing on Sunday 25th I would love to join in. I have a 1:10 Tamiya Electric. Currently based in Southampton.

Ok thanks John,
So looks like we may have a meeting tomorrow folks if John feels better and Ted can make it..
If anyone can't make it, please post here as soon as possible (before 8am tomorrow) to avoid others travelling to Bashley unnecessarily..
Suggest everyone checks here before setting out!
Hopefully see you all tomorrow :-) weather is looking good!

It's cold track side this morning everyone. Remember we have a kettle in race control, it's already on the boil for a nice brew!

Today was fun. Thanks everyone for all your help!
Quick question,
Everyone seemed to be using exactly the same tyres. Ive been looking about online to get a set like that, but not sure what you would call them to search.
any help appreciated.
thanks.

Hi Ted. Tyres are graded by no 20 soft to 36 hard. Most people use 32 in summer 28 when it gets colder. Also there is a wet tyre with tread. Most popular is sorex tyres. There are other makes such as ride or sweeps. There are 2 types of sorex ry for outdoors jb for indoors. The tyre is the same on both just different foam inner. Other makes use same foam indoors or out. Wheels to look for then is sorex -28ry for you. have a look at demonpowerproducts.co.uk they are doing them for £22.99 +pp. they are at Aldershot. To search look for 1/10 on road wheels and tyres.

Basically most people will use the Sorex 28 Code XG-28RY (yellow insert) for outdoor use at this time and mostly through the summer as well. If really hot then the Sorex 32 is used.
Indoors the Sorex 28 Code XG-28JB (black insert) is the tyre of choice.
