Not really.
John did mention a while back that he took his motor apart and cleared all the crud from inside and the car was like new.
So I did the same. But on Sunday (SWICC), the motor would turn when the sensor lead was unplugged. But when plugged in, it just "whines". I've double checked all the soldering just now (all good) and tried again, I can get it to turn if I manually "start" it, but the motor generates a lot of heat.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? I'm wondering if I've damaged the sensor board somehow.
Thanks in advance,
Tony.

Hi Tony, It does sound like a sensor board issue I'm afraid

Managed to get it working again!!!
Took the soldering iron with the fine tip and melted all joints I could reach on the sensor board. Now it works as before, so must have been a dry solder joint.
Result!
