OK gang,
Race meeting is planned for this Sunday with Short Course Trucks and Touring Cars welcome..
As always we need a minimum of 6 drivers to commit to race as always on this thread (by 6pm Saturday) for the meeting to go ahead..
weather is looking dry so why not charge some batteries and come racing!

I'll be there! Got a new 13.5 Boosted TC to play with. I'll probably go even if there is no racing just to give it a test. Joe

TC for us as well. I managed to get a new bearing last night (car was handling strange on Wednesday, turned out one of the front bearings was not a bearing any more).

New car is bloody amazing for the money! Mucked about with the turbo settings and its so fast I had to turn it down. Best lap was a 14.7 but it's pretty hard to drive. I done loads of set up changes but I couldn't stop it sliding whilst coming onto the power. Got 20 laps 308 seconds so not far off the mark. Just so hard to drive!
New bodyshell is knackered, I did roll the car quite a lot...

but I couldn't stop it sliding whilst coming onto the power. Belt tension? Was the rear sliding?

Possibly! The rear belt is a little tighter than the front.

It would be OK if your coming out of the corners, it's more when your going around the corner and easing on the power the rear end suddenly lets go. Particularly the nettles corner.

Could well be belt tension. Rear getting more of the power first.
