A)what about the members who dont have brushless are they not allowed to get any points.
B)the rules state you can use 10.5 or 19t / 27t or 17.5 its just we dont have a brushed 13.5 equal motor.
C) there is no overtaking problem if your in front then try to win, just becouse the car behind has a faster motor in it then they should prove it and cleanly overtake or should we take the aproach of not getting our cars dirty and decide the points beforehand.
D) pete you have too much time on your hands if your thinking this deeply about things, Have you gone brushless?

Simple solution vote for two classes Pro-stock(10.5/13.5/19T) and Stock (17.5/27T); then this problem is no longer a problem,as you can run brushless or brushed in both classes. And it gets rid of the overtaking problem too ;D Thanks Pete thats what I suggested some while back,simple!..but some may want a separate 13.5 class

[/quote] Ian this will be a prob if there are separate classes battling for separate points in the same final...putting it simply would you like me to hold you up with my 13.5 if your battling for 10.5 points with your main rival up your chuff??..no, nor would I ,we are running separate races!!!..but this is where the problem lies,I cant see a way to run mixed 13.5/10.5 in the same finals for separate points."who's racing who ,for position or for points"

D) pete you have too much time on your hands if your thinking this deeply about things, Have you gone brushless? Fraid not Ian, but after BBQs and Xmas poems I thought a bit of constructive intellectual discusssion was in order. And to be fair Les did say I had a point which is the first compliment he has paid me this week ;D Brushless? Well I was planning to but what with all this palaver about having to change engines if there is a dew I think we'll stay where we are, much easier
