Bring your trophy along with you Sunday so we can all have a look, I think a picture of you holding it needs to be placed on the home page of our website for a while.

Thanks everyone, the boys did the club proud! Obviously I am over the moon for Craig but Dan was awsome too, Col is too modest to give you all the facts. Firstly Dan was the only brushed runner in the U17 Prostock final AND he was up against the cream eg the likes of Elliott Harper who recently won his first senior BRCA Nationals beating Andy Moore into 2nd place. To make the A final and finish well above his grid spot in such company was sensational.
More importantly though it is a commendation for our club and the members, who welcome and mentor its young racers; without the club’s culture Dan and Craig wouldn’t have been there let alone have done so well. So lots and lots of thanks to the many of you whom have helped Craig and I over the past year. We really could not have done it without you.
It’s been a long long weekend including get lost east of Coventry on the way home ! and I am sure Craig will thank you tomorrow, he‘s gone to bed and Dad is settling down with a bottle or two of wine to see how another youngster got on at Hockenheim ;D.

WOW ... thanks to everyone, i couldn't have done it without the amazing support and competition at bashley. but also well done to Dan who not only beat TEAM DRIVERS, but also gave me support on the day. thanks to Dan, Col and Derek for helping make it a brilliant weekend, and also you guys on the forum really made it complete as well, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again this weekend ;D. it went a lot better than last year when we spent 2 hours in a monsoon trying to get the worlds smallest party balloon on a speedo in the boot of a tiny hire car!!!

It's all down to the shell Dan. Very well done to both you whipper snappers! Just to remind everyone that there's an age limit on purchase of brushless systems, you must be over 18 to buy one. Sorry Dan them's the rules. You'll have to wait. Mark

Actually son, the wonderful Xray T'008 sets itself up. I know what you meant to say was thanks for free access to your credit card, for those tireless hours ensuring the entire package is at 110 percent, for taking me all those miles, via a non-existant Burger King, to the Macdonalds in Nuneaton on Friday night, for taking me to the the Burger King on Saturday night that was actually on an M6 service station then driving all those miles to find an exit on the the M60 something or other so we could turn around and come back and for getting up at 5.45 on Sunday morning and moving all the gear from the hotel room to the car while I was asleep and for selflessly taking your jacket off to cover up the cars when the heavens opened. Oh and for sprinting to the start line for Q1 cos I forgot to tell you there was only 1 minute between heats not 2. But I forgive you

They're teenagers, they're not supposed to appreciate you for at least another 4 years I'm sure if your honest though, you didn't mind a bit, I'm sure you love it as much as they do Especially with results like that, you must be very proud.

Of course Keith. I let Craig down badly last year with a poor car. He drove in Q1, in the wet and I mean wet, like he had never done before and that was good enough for grid 6 in the A final but the car failed to complete another lap. For the last 12 months my sole focus has been to get him there this year with a competitive car, in good shape and with as much of a professional approach as possble. Everything else in relative terms such has SLCC etc. has almost been an irrelevance for me (not Craig!), and I don't mean that in any bad way at all, but just that I have used it all as preparation for Young Guns. If you had seen his face and tears last year you would have done the same! But he came away with the knowledge that he could compete at that level and wanted to go back again bless him. So proud yes but moreso just so happy for Craig

And pleased with yourself no doubt, I've witnessed the effort you've put over the past few months and hats off to you, between you both you have proved your a great team and competitive at the highest level. What a memory for you both to share and continue to share with future generations of Campbells. Well done again both of you!

That is very kind of you Keith and appreciated but do not forget that unlike yourself and Chris etc. we have the advantage that I do not race. That gives me a lot more time at meetings to experiment, do repairs and assess the car and Craig, the latter point being impossible for you if you are in the same race as Ollie, unless of course he is right up your jacksie or vice versa! I am sure you do as much work but half of it will be for you not Ollie.

i know how you feel Dan, my mum cant stand to watch me race in case something goes wrong. probably something to do with the fact that every time mum came with me and dad it got canceled because of rain or a wheel fell off!
