Go for it Pete!...you should start driving...its great fun...and after all the effort you put into Craig and Ross's cars you should have some fun out of it. It takes a little while to get the hang of it...but I did it because I was fed up with Simon having all the fun while I stood around watching.

so i finally decided on a cyclone.
and i managed to pick one up second hand on ebay for £130, it come yesterday and ive done a rebuild on it today and set it all back to factory settings (went and got some height and camber gauges from reality today)
its in real good condition as it was previously used as a second car because the dude had 2 of them and a TC. So bonus for me.
atm i have a spool in front and diff in back (one way in box)
so i think i might come down wednesday after work (which means ill miss the first race but could catch the last 3. plus if weather is good ill pop down to bashley 2mo.
+ i finally read the manual for my accoms technisport and found the power % for throttle. so upped it to 150% so my speedo might have a little more punch (thou im worried about the heat as it gets hot at 100%)

so i finally decided on a cyclone. Good one. All you need do now is keep an eye on ebay for anyone breaking Pro4s cheap and they'll do for the majority of your spares. Col

all that setting the throttle to 150% will do is move the full throttle point on the stick to say 3/4 position then the last 1/4 will do nothing. you need to set the speedo to your transmitter not the other way round.
it should be set so that ( as per the instructions ) full throttle on the stick/trigger is full throttle on the speedo. the punch is a different setting( and set on the speedo).

Loosed up the top deck, lay the chassis on something totally flat and retighten it. Col

1170g sounds like you've forgotten a major component, motor? Even if you're running a lipo pack that's extraordinarily light. Outside on the road won't be very accurate as the road cambers off a lot towards the kerb. Unequal pressure on one side of the car.
Recheck droop screws and shock length, undo and retighten the top deck and stick it on the track. You'll have a better idea of whats what.

I've just weighed Dans WCE and with a Lipo, tyres and bodyshell on my kitchen scales and she's weighing 1545 (thats with 185g weights)
Have you rebuilt the shocks & made sure there's no air bubbles in them and they're of equal size.
