Have tried Sorex 24Rs several times and they have good grip. Once when we backed to backed them with CS22s they were noticeably better but that was Aprilish so may not be the right conditions for a comparison. My main concern was longevity. Had no problems getting preglued CS22s of late though Nice info Pete..it was a 50/50 choice of 24's or CS22's for me,I did'nt like the Sorex range when we first started to use them but the 28 has proven to be a practical tyre,so it makes sence 24's for cooler days 20's for dampish days. Colostomy bag Keith??...I always thought that lump in your pocket was your quick release pit tool .... ;D

Just another case of a good topic being hi-jacked by boys who should know better in the pursuit of higher posting numbers. Bloomin typical. I would never do anything like that. ;D

Yea whatever! I've seen you on many a night lurking around the dark streets and alleys of verwood, wearing nothing but an anorak what the hell do you guys do in that shed? Rebuilds, set ups, motor cooling tests, experimenting with new idea's...and glueing tyres to work tops and fingers ;D...any one is welcom, just bring a sense of humor and your car, sorry no Anoraks Removing tyres from rims, my method...cut tyre around center,fold/flick rubber outwards, remove old insert and simmer in an old sauce pan with water and a very small amount of washing up liquid,it takes about an hour for the tyre to seporate from the rim but its very hit and miss and can distort some rims. Any one found a beter way of removing old tyres from rims other than Acetone or a slow boil in water?

Oh les I seem to remember something about temp testing sausages as well? Or is that not something you want everyone to know about. Sorry if it was. ;D ;D Thanks Ian ....I dont want to be told off by Simon again but it was funny...But one rainy set up Sunday in my garage,Chrissy made some sausage rolls for us that were seriously hot, none of us could eat them ,so we put a thermal probe inside one, fitted a cooler around the out side and waited and watched the results with great interest,it proved to be the perfect trial run for a motor test later ;D..Matt has photos and a ploted graph showing the correct eating temp and time to reach it...all in fun!

And we try so hard to promote a professional and serious attitude to the youngsters. What hope do they stand of ever understanding. ;D ;D ;D
